Our high school students had a fantastic experience yesterday at the Bronx Zoo. Students observed exhibits throughout the entire Zoo while focusing on the effects of climate change and human impact on ecosystems and on a larger scale biomes throughout the world.
Congratulations to our varsity debate team for sweeping the second tournament of the season yesterday at North Bergen High School. Shout out to captains Angel Morales and Daniel Shotkin for winning first place team of the day, Angel Morales for winning second place speaker, Daniel Shotkin for winning 1st place speaker and to Emma DePeola for winning best judge. The team looks forward to their next tournament at Fort Lee High School in November. Go Cards!
Our fourth graders remain excited to learn how to play instruments and how to perform in a band. Weekly full band rehearsals are quickly progressing!

Wellness Wednesday kicked off today at WRMS. Today’s objective was to focus on active listening. Active listening is a fundamental part of communication. Students were asked to think about what active listening LOOKS like. Students shared examples with classmates and engaged in related activities.
