Great experience visiting Lincoln Tech! Students were able to tour all of the classrooms that featured many different trade/vocational programs. Students met with campus recruitment and discussed financial aid, scholarships and the many opportunities they offer for students.

Mr. Welfel’s High School French students enjoyed themselves at an authentic local French restaurant. It was an exciting opportunity for all to taste traditional dishes such as pâté, croque monsieur and crème brûlée. Looking forward to more cultural experiences in the future.

Thank you Mrs. Eliason and all our guest readers today to help celebrate Read Across America Week! All classrooms enjoyed a guest reader; take a look at a few classes in the picture.
It's Crazy Hat Day! Brookside students and staff showed off some of their funniest, wildest hats. Let's keep the fun going tomorrow by dressing up as your favorite book character or by wearing spirit wear! #ReadAcrossAmerica
Club Advisor Mr. Thomas announced the Academic Decathlon finished up our season last night with the state awards dinner. Our team earned 16 individual awards and came in 4th overall (top 5 get trophies!) The students put so much work into this, and it is not easy to achieve what they did (side note - of the 8 starters, 6 of them were rookies).
Nick Kawasaki earned 7 individual awards and was the second highest scorer overall in his division in the State!
The Team will look to do some recruiting and start prepping for next year's topic: The American Revolution and The New Nation!
Congratulations to our Academic Decathlon Team and their coach, Mr. Thomas, earning 16 individual awards and the team came in 4th overall. Nick Kawasaki earned 7 individual awards and was the second highest scorer overall in his division in the state! Go Cards!
Congratulations to the High School's 2022 Valedictorian, Christopher Eagar! We are very proud of your accomplishment!

Brookside School Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Morales is bringing the fun this week as we celebrate Read Across America. Dr. Mortimer stopped by her classroom yesterday, and she was welcomed in to see the festivities.
Thank you Berkeley PSO for each student to receive a free book to help celebrate Read Across America!
Brookside welcomed many guest readers from our school and town community today. A big thanks to everyone who volunteered their time to share in our love of reading as we continue to celebrate #ReadAcrossAmerica week!
