Mr. DeBlasio's High School Design Thinking class had Ms. Petrocelli come to do a presentation on "How to Make a Pitch". The students will use the real-world experiences she brought and the skills they learned with Canva for their final presentation to Don Ghermezian CEO of the American Dream Co.

Class of 2026 and 2027 met this week with our school counselors and work-based learning coordinator to review course requests, select/prioritize electives and log into Naviance to create/update their resume. Reminder: if you have not done so already, get involved inside and outside of school (and note it on your resume).
Our High School Varsity Debate Team crushed it at the last tournament of the regular season with juniors Angel Morales and Daniel Shotkin winning first place. Each of our captains also brought home a speaker trophy - Angel won the tournaments' third-place speaker award and Daniel won the award for second-place speaker of the day. While we are sad to see the regular season end, it has been our best one yet!! Our team is working diligently in anticipation of next Friday's championship tournament. GO CARDS!!

We are delighted to announce that Mr. Rafael, one of our most dedicated custodians, is retiring. We cannot thank him enough for his unwavering commitment and hard work towards JFG. We wish him all the best in his well-deserved retirement and hope that he enjoys every moment!
