Westwood's varsity debate team crushed it at the last regular tournament of the season this past Friday at Northern Valley Demarest High School. A huge shout out to Angel Morales and Daniel Shotkin for being awarded 1st place team of the day. Additionally, Westwood swept the Best Speaker category with Natalia Mayhew taking home the third-place trophy, Angel Morales earning the second-place trophy, and Daniel Shotkin bringing home the first-place speaker award! The team has had an incredible season and cannot wait to show off their hard work on Friday, 3/14 at the varsity championship tournament, here at Westwood High School.
