Encouraging laughter among our team members enhances our dynamic and fosters a positive atmosphere. We've been playing a game called "Turkey In Your Pocket!" The last three people who manage to keep the turkey in their pocket until the end of the day will enter to win a prize!

When receiving your 1st marking period grades, use this time to review and reflect. Take a close look at your Genesis gradebook to identify patterns throughout the quarter. Take note of the areas where you succeeded and areas that need improvement to set a goal for next quarter. *A reminder to utilize extra help/ASL as a tool to assist you.

Last Wednesday, 11/8, Mr. DeBlasio's Design Thinking class took a trip to the American Dream Mall. The class had an hourlong meeting with Don Ghermezian (The CEO of Triple Five Group who owns the mall), the General Manager, and members of his marketing team at their corporate headquarters. The class received their four-part challenge, which they will work on over the next 8-9 weeks and the students will then return and present their solution to the group. Afterward, the class got a firsthand tour of the facility which is one of the three largest entertainment complexes in the Northern Hemisphere! Amazing experience for our students!
