Third graders in Mrs. Mosery's class are working hard in math! They are learning to estimate and measure the mass of objects. They used real life items like nickels, paperclips, and their math textbook to compare the weights of grams and kilograms. #BESTatBrookside
First grade authors in Ms. Bowker's class are officially POETS! They are learning to write a variety of poems including acrostic, shape, and haiku. Here are some of their favorite haikus, which are short poems with three lines and patterned syllable counts. #BESTatBrookside

Students in Ms. Zakar’s "Zak Pack" have become toy designers! They are creating prototypes of a new toy that will be used to attract customers to a fast food restaurant. The new toys will be part of the kids meal offered to children. #BESTatBrookside
Fifth graders have been learning about recycling in Media Class this month in honor of Earth Day. They used LEGO WeDo2.0 kits to build and code a recycling truck. We are so lucky to have Ms. Eliason in our Media Center! #BESTatBrookside
