Our fourth and fifth grade students participated in a virtual assembly today focusing on bike and pedestrian safety. Thank you to EZ Ride for hosting this informative session for our students!

For Writing Workshop, 2F showed how writers create engaging book characters thanks to a fun virtual drawing lesson by Diary of a Wimpy Kid author Jeff Kinney!! The children are so excited to compose stories featuring their own fictional characters!!



2F was one of our lucky Turkey BINGO winners!! We hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving!

Thank you to each and every family who supported our Coin Challenge last week! We were able to raise nearly $4000 to fund our Kindergarten Basket of Books Program, as well as a special first grade program to make up for those who missed it last year due to Covid. Yesterday we celebrated with a school-wide PJ Day!


Kudos to the amazing staff at Washington School who successfully evacuated all of our students safely today! Township Police and Fire Depts. responded immediately and provided amazing support. We are back in business! WWRSD's amazing Building and Grounds staff were on site last night and bright and early this morning so that teachers would be ready to work on their classrooms :) We can't wait to welcome students on Tuesday. Thank you to everyone who made it happen!





A huge thank you to Girl Scout Troop 98195, who donated this beautiful Cherry Tree to Washington School. This tree was planted on Saturday, September 11 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of 9/11. This beautiful tree will stand in front of Washington awaiting our return!
