
The High School Peer Pals Club delivering gifts to the Salvation Army!

Mrs. Duffus' High School Painting II students are creating large landscape paintings inspired by places they have been and artists they admire. So much talent!

Matthew Ryan, a senior participating in our Work Based Learning Program, is interning with Mr. Fritz here at the High School. He has been assisting with various different aspects in preparation for the Concert Choirs' next performance. He will be pursuing a degree in theatre and drama education with a minor in music.



The High School Peer Pals Club created Holiday Greeting Cards for the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington DC!



Westwood Regional High School French and History students had a fantastic experience exploring international art at The MET. It was a great way for students to gain insight on the material learned in class and connect it to the real world.





Mia Heid, a senior participating in our Work Based Learning Program, is interning at Children’s Aid & Family Services in Fair Lawn where she is working on various school outreach programs in the Bergen County area. Mia will be pursuing a degree in social work after graduation.


Thank you to Solomon Thomas for sharing his story and the New York Jets for an amazing presentation on Mental Health last night!! His message was clear: If you need help, do not be afraid or ashamed to ask. Also a huge thank you for the surprise SUPER BOWL tickets for senior student-athlete Aidan Carroll!




Mr. DeBlasio's H.S. Honors Design Thinking class held an online presentation with the Ticket Sales Representatives of the New Jersey Devils. They presented 5 ideas of themed game packages the Devils can utilize. The class is excited to come up with solutions for the organization.


Congratulations to Mr. Henry Chen, Physics teacher at Westwood Regional H.S.! He was nominated and selected by his colleagues to be the Governor's Educator of the Year for the high school. We are fortunate to have so many amazing and dedicated educators at the high school!


Congratulations to the High School November Student of the Month, Josie LeSane Cook (Grade 12), nominated by Ms. Casey Vallorano. Great job!


Senior Class Movie Night last night!



Kenzie Murphy, a representative from Hackensack Hospital, came to discuss the importance of wearing seatbelts, driving sober, and not being distracted while driving to all sophomore students.



Mr. Mark Musella, Bergen County Prosecutor, visited with high school students today to discuss a variety of public service careers, particularly in law enforcement and criminal justice. Thank you Mr. Musella!


Students in Mrs. Menken's Physics classes are using bowling balls, basketballs, & hockey sticks to answer the following questions in terms of Newton's First Law of Motion...How do you change the motion of an object? Will the motion of a more massive object be easier to change?


Our High School Media Specialist collaborated with the WW & WT Librarians to sponsor a Book Tasting event. The purpose of the event was to assist students in finding an independent reading book and to inform students of the opportunities available at the municipal libraries.



Thank you to the High School Guidance Department for hosting an informational college search and application workshop last night for Juniors and their families.


Melanie Robles is interning @ Sterling Sound Studios which produces Grammy award-winning artists. She has been working on various different aspects of their social media & marketing. She will be pursuing a degree in business with a concentration in music production/technology.


Congrats to the students who successfully auditioned for the Bergen County H.S. Choir. Mr. Fritz will be managing the ensemble for the 2023 Festival. Students (photographed left to right) include: Ella Goodman, Matthew Ryan, Anna Nooney, Reid Foley, and Mary Magliochetti.
