
Mr. Chen's students are getting into the swing of things in Honors Physics learning about circular motion. Students can swing a bucket of marbles without any of them falling out. The question is, are the marbles being pushed out or pushed in?

Students in Mr. Chen's AP Physics 2 discussed the growing trend of LED bulbs instead of incandescent bulbs. Which of these is more energy efficient? The LED bulbs were cool to the touch but the incandescent bulbs were hot!


Mrs. McKaba's Honors Chemistry students completing a lab to first create magnesium oxide and then analyze it's percent composition.



The winners of Mr. Tresvalles's Principles of Engineering classes' CO2 Dragster competition received 3D-printed trophies! Congratulations to Owen O'Malley, Luke Gutteridge, Ethan Goldfarb, Allison Ferner, Alina Abad, Adam Pack, and Alan Contreras.




Students in Ms. Hartwick's Biology classes are learning about optimal enzyme activity. To determine what conditions make enzymes work best, students are using beef liver as a model.




We have a total of 35 players playing competing on our Esports Team! . The games include Rocket League, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Overwatch, Valorant, & Minecraft. We will be competing against schools from across the Eastern Region of the country. Go Cards!

High School French classes worked hard to design, bake, and decorate their very own Bûche de Noël (Yule Log Cake). Students had fun working on this collaborative project together as teachers voted for their favorite. A great way to show holiday spirit.

A Trauma Trainer Specialist & Clinician for the Bergen Trauma Training Center at Care Plus spoke to high school students today about conflict, bullying, diversity, differences, de-escalation, the need for connection and communication, and how to be an up-stander!

Congratulations to Sophomore Lucy Ruel for her artwork titled "Hero vs Hero" that was accepted into the 2022 NAHS/NJAHS Juried Exhibition. From the 1,665 submissions, 200 artworks have been selected for inclusion. Amazing talent!


Emma Ohlstein, a WHS Graduate (2017), came for a visit to the 3-D Arts class as a guest artist. She currently attends Central Saint Martins, through the University of the Arts London. She spoke of her experiences in the arts, including the internship program that allows her to travel and work for various ceramic studios. She recently finished an internship in Miami and next semester will be traveling to Indonesia.
