Class of 2025: Today is not only the first day of August but also the opening of the 2024-2025 Common Application. This is your reminder to log into www.commonapp.org and create an account or sign back in to work on your application. Class of 2024 Graduates: If you have not yet completed your FAFSA application there is still a little time and a lot of help. New Jersey is now offering students FREE 1:1 FAFSA completion consultations. The Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA) is hosting free online consultations through August to help more New Jersey students complete the federal application to access any available financial aid. Dual Enrollment: New Jersey students have multiple pathways to earn both secondary and post-secondary course credits. WWRSD offers dual enrollment to our students and allows them to simultaneously earn high school and college credits.

ACT Updates for 2025:
1. Similar to the optional writing section, the science section is now optional. English, reading, and math remain as the core sections of the ACT test that will result in a college-reportable score. Students can choose to take the ACT, the ACT plus science, the ACT plus writing, or the ACT plus science and writing.
2. Three hours to two hours- The new core test will be just 2 hours, compared to 3 hours. To achieve this, the test will include shorter passages on the reading and English sections and fewer questions in each section.
