10th-grade Chemistry students visited the American Museum of Natural History and The Hayden Planetarium in New York City. Students toured the museum and went to a space exploration show in the world-famous Hayden Planetarium. Our students saw actual examples of what they are learning in the classroom and participated in hands-on activities that will benefit their academic achievement in future science classes.

Thank you to Tim Shoemaker for his time this morning presenting to our freshmen class. We thank our students for their respect and engagement throughout. To quote Mr. Shoemaker, "the best presentation is the one you can find your story in" and we hope students were able to connect it to their story and lives. Remember to ask yourself, are you better today than you were yesterday?
Parents of middle and high school students, this evening Tim will present at 6:30pm in the Westwood Regional High School, Hurley Theater. Please view this teaser video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HJkV6t0Qh0M
