Berkeley students shared their Halloween candy with the Veterans at the VA home in Paramus. Maybe a few less sweets for kids, but a big treat to show their gratitude for our Veterans! Thank you Mrs. Petersen for organizing our donation.

We are the champions, my friends...congratulations to our Girl's Soccer Team on their Championship win yesterday! Way to go athletes, coaches, and fans! How cool is it that Mr. O'Sullivan wore his varsity soccer jacket to watch our game?
Health/P.E. teachers, administrators, and police officers teamed up to provide a refresher on expectations for our middle schoolers. We discussed everything from bike safety to the power of our words. Do you think we can ever get all the wrinkles out of this piece of paper?
Twin day at the middle school was a hit!
Ms. Georgiadis' Kindness Club is spreading kindness around Berkeley like the autumn leaves all around us.
Reduce stress by building healthy coping skills into your routine for you and your child/student.

The high school debate team attended a competition at River Dell High School on Friday, 10/27. This competition was our team's best - EVERY SINGLE pair of debaters won at least one round of the day. Additionally, Angel Morales won a second-place speaker trophy and Sofia Suits won a best judge award. The team's hard work is paying off & we are looking forward to our next tournament later in November. GO CARDS!!!!
During their presentation at the Art Educators of New Jersey Conference, High School teachers Pamela Duffus and Michele Keller showcased their innovative teaching methods and techniques. They demonstrated how they incorporated Sketchbooking into their art lessons, engaging their students and fostering creativity. Additionally, they shared their experiences collaborating with other teachers and community organizations to provide unique learning opportunities for their students. The teachers' passion for art education was evident throughout their presentation, inspiring their fellow educators to explore new ways to engage their own students in the creative process and encourage higher level thinking. Great job!
Check out this example of a differentiated advisory lesson. This week's lesson focused on goal setting. Here you see an "expert panel" share their strategies for academic success. What is your routine for getting work done after school?
