Mrs. Rattacasa's Algebra 2 students examined Quadratics to determine the series of transformations applied to the parent function, and ultimately create equations for each graph.



Street Closing Update for Pascack Road
7:00am - 8:30am - Pascack Road will be closed between Manhattan Avenue and Ridgewood Road. Ridgewood Road will be open during this time period to access the Westwood High School for morning drop-off.
Those students who utilized the Pascack Road/Pine Lake Drive bus stop you will be picked up at Pascack Road/Finnerty Place(north of the shopping center) for the morning pickup.
8:30am - 10:00am - Pascack Road will remain closed and Ridgewood Road will also be closed between Woodfield Road and Ridgewood Blvd. North. This closure will allow for the paving of the intersection of Pascack Road and Ridgewood Road.
10:00am - 1:00pm - Ridgewood Road will be reopened. Pascack Road will now be closed between Ridgewood Road and Soldier Hill Road.
1:00pm - 5:00pm - Pascack Road closures remain in place, residents on / off of Pascack Road between the Knights of Columbus and Linwood Avenue will need to have their vehicles removed from their homes if they wish to travel during this time period. This includes residents from Hampton Court and Washington Pond.
Those students who utilized the Pascack Road/Pond Drive bus stop should get off at the Fairfield Court/Ridgewood Road stop for the afternoon drop off.

Our K-5 school counselors welcomed kindergarten students to elementary school with introductions of who they are, what the roles of a counselor are, and ways a counselor can support students in the building.

During the first few weeks of school, Mrs. Palianto visited each classroom to read the book The Magical Yet. This beautifully illustrated story focuses on growth mindset and the special power of "yet" when facing challenging situations. #WeAllShine@Washington

Back to School Night is more than just an opportunity to learn about the incredible teaching and learning going on in our classrooms - it's also an opportunity to connect as a community, to show our support for our teachers, and to celebrate our students.
