
During our staff professional development day, our K-12 Physical Education Teachers, 6-12 Nurses and 6-12 Counselors received full-day training on Mental Health First Aid. This week we will be encouraging our students to participate in a Kindness Challenge, focusing on how they can show kindness to others and themselves. We know our students demonstrate kindness every day, and this week provides a special focus on promoting a positive and supportive atmosphere. It's a reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a significant impact.

Our partners at NJ4S are offering a virtual parent workshop- Social Media and Its Impact on Youth. Bergen County parents will learn current trends and share best practices for effective discussion about the impacts of technology and social media use with your tweens/teens. February 19th at 7:00pm. Our kindergartners had a snow-tastic time in science as they made REAL snow! Using some cool science tricks, they created snow right in the classroom, and the excitement was infectious! Hands-on learning for our little scientists exploring the magic of winter! #JustFocusonGrowing

Dr. Calderón witnessed some creativity in 8th grade ELA today with Mr. Barbarito and Mrs. Lehrer! Students explored the author's voice by channeling fictional characters to write about their school experiences.
