Military Questionnaire - Westwood HS Eagle Project - Reed Gehringer
Westwood High School Military Display Cabinet Honoring Graduates and Teachers
Reed Gehringer, Life Scout with Westwood Troop 350 and a Junior at Westwood Regional High School, has chosen his Eagle Project to build a display cabinet in Westwood Regional High School to honor all students who have graduated or have been drafted from our high school since it was created in 1913 to the present as well as future graduates who serve in our United States Military. This cabinet will also honor district teachers (Minimum of 5 years teaching in the district) who have served in the United States Military.
He has chosen his project to honor his grandparents, Jane & Barry Gehringer, who both served in the Army as well as honor my high school and fellow students and their families. Reed feels serving in the military is one of the hardest and most honorable choices a person can make, and feels personally grateful to all those who make this choice. If you or anyone you know fits the above criteria, please complete the information below.

Our 5th graders, who’ve been embracing the Building Thinking Classrooms initiative, inspired our 4th graders to check it out. When I stopped by 4th grade, I was thrilled to see them working together in the same way—collaborating, problem-solving, and thinking critically as a team. #BESTatBrookside

Today, I visited a first grade classroom and was beyond proud and touched to find out one of our Brookside students wrote an All About book... about ME! Moments like these make being principal so special. Keep shining, little authors! #BESTatBrookside

High School French students had a great day at Lincoln Center’s Rendez-Vous with French cinema watching Jean Cocteau's Beauty and the Beast. A fairy tale of a beautiful girl who melts the heart of a feral but gentle beast.

High School students in anatomy and physiology explored the nervous system by dissecting a sheep's brain.
