Thank you Berkeley PSO for our "Music from the Earth" assembly from journeyswithsound.com. We learned about the many destinations around the world and how instruments 'from the earth' are enjoyed by all.

In response to this week's display of hate & bias, the Office of Curriculum & Instruction compiled resources for parents. Swastikas, speech & other images that diminish a group are condemned. Go to: https://sites.google.com/wwrsd.org/publiccurriculumoffice for more information.
We remain grateful and positive...especially Mrs. Massaro, for creating Berkeley's Positivity Chain...here's a sneak peek until you can see it in person for Open House later this month.
Kindergarteners love to 'unlock' sounds and letters with Mrs. Houck!
Multilingual learners (ESL) have the opportunity to use an iPad Mini to assist with translations. WRSD has over 70 students learning English as a new language, with over 400 students in the district speaking another language at home, in at least a dozen languages. #Diversity
Our teachers come up with great ways of presenting student learning.
Signs of spring are everywhere...we are ready! Remember to 'spring ahead' one hour this Sunday to begin Daylight Savings Time.
Thank you Berkeley PSO for 'March Munchies' to start the week! What a great surprise on a Monday morning!
Kindergarteners enjoy an extra special treat with family and friends coming to school to read together for Read Across America Week!
Thanks to our afternoon guest readers and to Mrs. Eliason for coordinating our special day to celebrate the joy of reading!
