5th graders started fantasy book clubs this week. The clubs consisted of a mix of cohort 1, 2, and remote students. They "met" virtually in a breakout rooms and engaged in great conversations.

For the last couple of weeks in Social Studies our FIFTH GRADERS researched famous African-Americans and then presented their research on flipgrid to their classmates.
The JFG teachers and staff were overwhelmed with great joy receiving "Staff Shout - Outs" from our parents and students! Our spirits were lifted by your thoughtful words! Thank you!
We loved having Jamie and Kaitlyn from the Westwood Regional Junior National Honor Society visit our Grade 3 students and read “Cake and I Scream”.
Our first graders are learning and listening to stories in our Black History Month digital library about people with determination and perseverance.
Although virtual, JFG had a successful 100th Day of School!
