The Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA) is hosting free online consultations through August to help more New Jersey students complete the federal application to access any available financial aid. This summer FAFSA completion initiative will run until August 25, 2024 or until all funds are expended – whichever comes first. Sign up here: https://www.hesaa.org/Pages/FAFSAScheduler.aspx

ACT Updates for 2025:
1. Similar to the optional writing section, the science section is now optional. English, reading, and math remain as the core sections of the ACT test that will result in a college-reportable score. Students can choose to take the ACT, the ACT plus science, the ACT plus writing, or the ACT plus science and writing.
2. Three hours to two hours- The new core test will be just 2 hours, compared to 3 hours. To achieve this, the test will include shorter passages on the reading and English sections and fewer questions in each section.

Thank you to Mrs. Meringolo, Mr. Welfel, and Mrs. Cardona for taking our students on an amazing trip to France offering an incredible opportunity for personal growth and cultural exploration. The first half of the trip will be a culturally authentic experience by embracing the day to day life of a typical French family. The second half of the trip will be exploring some important cities and cultural sites that are important to understanding French culture. They will also explore cultural landmarks that have a significance for both French and American cultures such as a visit to the D-Day beaches and museums. Have a great trip!
