Do you know the dangers of vaping? Our 6th grade health students are learning about how similar the risks are to those of a typical cigarette and how to cut through the false advertising.
The Helping Hands Club’s candy drive collected 112.2 pounds of Halloween candy to be donated to Tomorrow’s Children’s Fund at Hackensack Hospital. Amazing job from both the club and all of our students and staff who donated!
Grade 6 Coding students are learning to build mazes as they create their video game project with Ms. Chernati. Hopefully we don’t reach the “Game Over” screen too quickly!

7th grade students with Mrs. Schama, Mrs. Campbell, and Mrs Donellen’s classes had the opportunity to take samples of their own cheek cells and view them under the microscope. Next they compared their cheek cells (animal cells) to Elodea (plant cells).

Our students never cease to amaze! Inspired by Mr. Halligan, Vanessa connected the Day of the Dead with last week’s Ryan’s Story presentation, creating this display in honor of bullying victims. So proud of her and impressed by the depths of her empathy!
