
In honor of National Social Emotional Learning Day, we celebrated our second Advisory Happy Day with lots of fun community building activities for students and staff! The day started with bulletin board decorating!





The snowy weather is perfect and fun timing to swing our psychrometers in 6th grade science to measure dew point and relative humidity!


With March, comes great timing for basketball! Students could play full or half court games, plus a basket for knockout with Mr. Gatens joining in!

Students in Monsieur Welfel's French classes made colorful masks by exploring the meaning of 'Mardi Gras' and how it is celebrated throughout the world.



Ms. Panno’s 6th grade are students are making kaleidoscope Mandala drawings using their names for a foundation. The techniques and creativity are impressive!

Great presentations today from Rachel Handler of Robin! She focused on adapting to change, resilience, empathy, and kindness with a remarkable positivity as she shared her own experiences with overcoming the loss of her leg. Inspirational!!

The Helping Hands Club created a bulletin board to encourage everyone to share positive messages with each other. All are welcome to take, share or leave a positive post-it!

ADV for her presentations in our 8th grade health classes on healthy relationships. Classes focused on respect and helping students make good choices and establish healthy habits early in all types of relationships.

Ms. McLaughlin’s SS 7 students are busy conducting archeological digs to discover various characteristics of the Ancient River Valley civilizations!





Ms. Chernati’s Robotics classes are using the design process and collaboration to build robotic launchers that will knock over cups. Great success in their trials!




Students in ELA 7 are viewing Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream” speech today and analyzing his powerful figurative language, drawing connections to their own social issues texts.


The Helping Hands Club collected over 50 coats for the Jersey Cares Coat Drive! These coats will be distributed to people of all ages in need.


The World Cultures Club discussed how the holiday season is celebrated throughout the world. Members took part in a 'White Elephant' that stems back to the kingdom of modern day Thailand where the Siamese King would gift an actual white elephant. Festive fun! Happy Holidays!


Ms. McLaughlin’s 7th grade social studies class is getting hands-on, and writing their names in hieroglyphics.
