6th graders in Mr. Fadini's, Mrs. Zalarick's, and Dr. Flower's science classes examined variables to consider when thinking about nuclear waste storage. Groups then made a choice about where they would choose to store nuclear waste and presented a convincing slideshow!

In 6th grade Science, students recently used crayons to simulate the rock cycle that happens in nature. During the process they created sediments, sedimentary, metamorphic, igneous rocks and melted them down to magma to observe all of the different processes involved in the rock cycle. What an engaging activity to help students internalize the various rock formations!

Sixth grade students engaged in working collaboratively in groups to plan and construct spaghetti towers. It is enlightening to see the hands on approach integrated through the technology departments curriculums and how they promote students inquisitive natures and problem solving skills!
